Interested to see what others think about this situation. This network is blatant disregard for gamesmanship from not only UT, but more so ESPN in my opinion. If UT funded this network solely on its own, it wouldn't be quite as big a deal... but the fact the ESPN is vested in it, I think it is a pretty unfair advantage in a lot of perspectives. I graduated from Texas A&M so obviously I'm biased... but it has me pretty pissed off and I wish we would have gone to the SEC when we had the chance!

Others thoughts?

Re: Longhorn Network

The talks are heating up again about A&Ms departure to the SEC.

The Longhorn Network will be the 24 hour advertising branch to recruitment for Longhorn football. There already was the competitive imbalance; this just now takes it to a whole other stratosphere.

Re: Longhorn Network

It's complete BS that ESPN has their hand in the Longhorn Network. Moves like this are going to ruin college football. It won't be long before we have super conferences and nothing else. Teams should be in regional conferences that make sense logistically. Boise State to the Big East? What the hell is wrong with college football?
