I admit that I was kind of surprised that when I heard there was rioting in Vancouver I was thinking that it would have been a couple of peeps in a fistfight, nothing the scale of the bullshit you've seen here, which is not a character trait of the city at all.

I kind of believe what the Vancouver police chief is saying - that it's not really the "true" fans that caused a lot of this shit, but I do think that the fans themselves have a part in this - there's a lot of people that are just standing by idly when the mayhem started, or even participated once the mob got rowdy.
