how can a sport just die? seems impossible. i dont watch it anyway so i really dont care, but the idea of a sport just stopping seems ridiculous.

yeah, but for die hards like myself, this really sucks. i mean , i hate basketball and all the criminals within it, im gonna be drooling and pale by the time opening day at yankees stadium occurs.

Today has just turned out to be an all around dismal day. Did any of you watch the AHL All-Star game on ESPN2 the other night? At least I got a bit of a fix.

Nope...refuse to watch any hockey because of the strike. I felt like the players that were playing in the other leagues showed me that they didnt care about the dispute

I'm with the guy with the last post no NHL so forget watching all hockey, I just play it for no money and for fun always better then watching anyways. Those greedy NHL players, sorry I'm just pissed hehe. Hope to see them next year I'll defeintly keep watching hockey when it comes back. I'm from Toronto so you must know how frustrated I am not seeing the Leafs win the cup which could of been the year for them if they played now I have to wait even longer, not just that me just being from Canada, it hits Canada a lot harder. :( I'll play for any money for a game I love.
