This has been ripped from the original and it was a double tape pack with the other tape being tony clarke. I will up the tape cover soon for it, but its defo labelled right.

well thats gratitude for you, I think I might not bother posting any more sets on here. I have boxes of original cassetts and run a website that speciallises in sets so I think I may know a little about them. I'll keep the scanned tape cover for my own site if you think its a fake. i hope your fellow members are happy to have such a nice bloke on the forum as yourself making new members welcome

I didnt say it was fake. I said I was suspicious, but also stated that 1993 wasn't really my era. I too have boxes of original cassttes and some of them are fakes. Its not really anything to do with being a nice bloke its just voicing an opinon, which is a major part of any forum.

Bazfalty dont take umbridge at Chris Aka Chunky, he is probably ort of way) the most knowledgable person on ms re Sasha sets he is only trying to help to ensure only authenticated recordings are on here,so that we can all listen and share if you care to read his posts you will realise what an invaluable contribution he has made to this site.

I am not decrying your efforts either, and would welcome more recordings but only if they are authenicated

this forum seems full of people that know there sasha sets, thats why I thought I'd share some stuff on here. But I wouldnt post a set up unless I knew it was genuine as theres to many fakes about. This tape is an original and the tapes I have just managed to source have come from somebody whO was quite big behind the scene from 91 - 96.

I just couldn't see the point in making a negative point on the post if by your own admission you dont know much about that era

I've bought a few my self. There where a series of tapes put out in the mid 90's labeled as Sasha and sold in the south of England that where actually DJ Vertigo. I'm sure you must be aware of this! As you pointed out you run and Oldskool forum. I also didn’t say I didn’t know much about that era. I said it really wasn’t my era. venus was shut by then if i remember right. I used to go to chuff chuff's so trust me this is chuff chuff, like I have said I wont post something I know is not genuine. still a bad attitude though and no appolgie

I dont know if Venus was shut by then but there is a set going round labeled Graeme Park @ Venus Nottingham, August 1993. I will ask Scot to check in his Mixmags from back then.

it may still have been open mid 93 but it wasnt the club it had been by then, most people had moved on to other clubs in the mids and the only one in notts worth going in 93 playing that sort of music was called the garage. I cant recall sasha playing at venus towards the end of its days

There was a Chuff Chuuf party in 1994 called Enchanting Fairytale. Its a bit strange Miss Moneypennys using the Enchanting Fairytale theme twice for the Chuff Chuff partys. And June 1993 does match the tracklisting.

Just checked Chuff Chuff did a party called "Glorious Jubilee Summer Ball" in June 1993 and Sasha played it but its not this set. I recon Stella could be correct.
