sorry,but although im a huge fan of sasha,yesterday he was all fucked up!there was no flow on his set and i think he played exclusively for the crowd that was there where the most of them had nothing to do with this kind of music.. thats my opinion

i mean that the crowd was not familiar with this kind of music and thats is normal because it was new years eve and the location was at a hotel.because i use to go to parties here in greece,yesterday there were no "party" people.i cant explain it more coz my english is not so good..did uoy get anything? :D

Also, how was CJ Jeff? That guy was playing at Cavo Paradiso back in 2004 when I was in Mykonos and I always liked him.

Basically Ilia is saying that the crowd was just uber commercial and pretty sparse as well, and Sasha probably conformed to that.

Altough Lavelle is live not that great it must be a great NYE at the Atheneum Intercontinental. Some bigger review would be great :).

I was not at the event, but I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. When I saw the flyer for this event I knew instantly it would suck. That just isn't the correct venue and crowd for Sasha.

^^ hahah .....but man that's bizarre..really I don't get why there is a majority that disliked it? How come? is it the guitar, indie stuff or the house mix of it that is putting people off ? as I liked it mainly for the Indie stuff, like doves jetstream and the last two tracks on cd2 etc..

I liked his last GU compilation, but it's not the kind of music that I wan't to hear on the dancefloor. The last 2 tracks from cd 2 are very nice, especially the last one, but that kind of stuff don't work on the crowd.
