I also quite liked it, i've heard most of what was broadcasted that night and none of the other performers were better. People have to remember John joined and mixed on Guy's track not stopping the music like with Lawler-Cox and that more than 2.5 hours were not broadcasted. Also John played second time that evening (first time at Space of Sound) which might have affected his performance. Sasha's part was very good and you could hear the excitement in voices of spanish commentators during his play.

Only great and excitining about this set is that stupid Sasha & Digweed hype and nothing else. If Sasha or Digweed for some stupid reason just laying a brick on dance floor many of you ( including spanish commentators ) would probably say: Ohhhhh what a beautiful crap, what a outstanding summer smell :roll:

I don't think so and your words show a lot of disrespect towards "us". But bashers prolly belong to the likes of sasha and digg doesn't matter how well or bad they would play. This set wasn't anything special that's true but then again, the other performances weren't any better. Maybe Guy Gerber.

^^ Everyone's entitled to their opinion .. and I very much like the Sasha part + I have been critical of other things he's put out .. but this I very much liked.

BTW the guys listening to Sasha last night were also very enthused (we missed Johns part of the broadcast). It depends on the sound - we very much liked it at the time.

If you don't like it Zen, then delete it :roll: - I'm sure there are plenty of non-summery sets out there for you to grab.

It's the same story over and over again, every S & D set is great with some outstanding summer, autumn, winter or spring tunes, about every S & D set we have approximately 283 pages of discussion and It doesn't matter if ( like Lord Lucan said ) music in that set doesn't start anywhere, doesn't finish anywhere, doesn't go anywhere... Only matter to spanish commentators, you or someone else is that brand new S & D set is out and We love Sasha ! We love Digweed ! Finally listened to this set. Have to say that I really liked the first 30 minutes until I found out that it was Guy Gerber's set :(.

The real S&D set sounds ok. I have to say that I was happy to DON"T hear any freaky techy stuff in this set. But I also have to say that I started skipping the real set after 10 minutes (that's not good) trying to find some tracks with emotions.

Was a bit disappointed that I didn't found a track that stole my hart, but after the first listening session I tried to listen the set in another way. Tried to imagine that I was on the dancefloor in the crazy club Space, and I started to dance in my mind. That's were this set is about, dance. No feelings, just dance and enjoy the night (not S&D as they should be).

Just my 2 cents

yeah i dont get that constant talking from these guys... its not that theyve got a show where they talk with the listeners and discuss some problems or whatever.. they brodcast a live from a club.. STFU!!!

as for the actual set i downloaded from the first link and i have to say that until 30mins which ih GuyGerber is very good. then from 30mins till 75mins the music is shit.. sorry guys but for me it is. too minimal, no vortex, no musical journey, no nothing... maybe thats why i didnt enjoy it as much as i wanted to in the Leeds gig.. the good thing is that after the 75mins and until the end the music is nice and i really enjoyed it.

so question. from the first link available (which as you said sounds a bit better) who plays and when??

I must confess Sasha > Digweed in this particular example, and I am usually of the opinion that Digweed > Sasha. What's the world coming to :what Digweed's half was hit and miss.

I just had a look at your recent posts and they all revolve around bagging shit out of sets from S&D or just stirring up bullshit and nonsense comments like Sasha is king and Digweed is nothing or whatever. And in this thread alone you go on and on about the S&D sets that begin nowhere, and go nowhere, this is a live broadcast in the middle of a set for crying out loud.
