I'm not that sure that this exists - you seldom get Pacha (ibiza) sets. They did one year of webcasts (2004) .. apart from that its usually only DJ's with their own radio shows that air them.

I went to this (it was his Renaissance return) .. don't recall him playing Seven Nation Army or Yeke.

Err ... he did, and I went !

He appeared at Renaissance as above - it was his annual birthday appearance, but at Pacha instead of Space.

Just in case you think my memory is hazy the gig also appeared in a list of top 10 Renaissance nights in Mixmag. Photos were also available on Renaissance's site.

[B]When the Ibiza season is in full effect (peak of the European summer - but of course) one can barely go a week without missing a huge night with some of the top high flying DJs. So when after 4 years, the Renaissance team make their return to their Ibizian home of Pacha and to add to this Sasha returns under the Renaissance flag after almost a decade (over 9 years) the herds of island visitors will definitely be in for something special.

Yeah I remember the hype around this gig. I think it was Sasha's first for Renaissance since the legendary fall out with Geoff Oaks in 94/95

I don't recall it ... must have been towards the end.

Sashs really hooked things up for the 1st two hours .. we were chatting to him beforehand - he seemed well up for the set and was fully coherent, so it was easily one of his best sets of 2003 (probably THE best).

"Stars" sounded crystal clear on that sound system - he also played a remix of Magnetic North and something from GU013 that I actually couldn't place a the time.

Still got my Renaissance Pacha poster from the night that I never got around to framing !

Sorry Si! My mistake man.:oops: He said at the start of his Hot Mix at Cafe Mambo in Aug 2004 that he "gave Ibiza a miss last year". That event must of slipped his mind. Must of been a messy one.;)

I'll let you off ;)

The following year he did a Renaissance residency (I went to the Sander K one) - that's where those 128kbs streams came from. Plus he did Space too (incl. his awesome Birthday marathon with JZ). 2005 was a Fundacion residency, 2006 back to Pacha (saw him with Hernan) and 2007 he returned to amnesia, which he must have loved because he played there a lot in 2008.

With the week £ I reckon a lot of DJ's will be clammering for €uropean pay days in 2009 !

He is Mr Fallout .. rumour was that he fell out with Fabric (and with Space for part of 2006).

Yeah, i was at the night with Zabiela. Very good night indeed. It's a shame there is no better recordings of these sets in circulation.:(
