guys i m just so sorry wht could i do i got this set from another site i just listened to it it sounded s & d at the first but as u said the mixing is horrible so i agree totally its fake but i didnt know sry again for everybody

Definitely a fake.

1. The mixing is horrible. The beatmatching sucks and the mixes are too short. Even if this was Sasha using CD players for the first time in years due to his Maven being broken, he still would have attempted longer mixes than this. Short mixes like these lose so much of the energy of the set. (Listen to a Nick Warren CD vs. a Sasha or Digweed CD and you'll see what I mean about short mixes) When you mix longer, you can keep the energy level up because there are always more elements of the two tracks playing together. Wait too long to mix, and you'll just be down to the kick and hi-hats. Major buzzkill on a dancefloor, and real DJs know this.

2. No real progression. Sasha would never play Mongoose toward the beginning of a set. He knows that's a late-night track. This whole set is all over the place. Not a snowball's chance in hell S&D did this mix.

The really sad part is..... whoever did mix this set probably has a residency somewhere, and people are forced to listen to this clown flub mixes and play bangin' tracks at the wrong part of the night on a weekly basis. ;)

Because more people are going to listen to their set if they label it Sasha or John Digweed. It will be discussed more on forums and the Phantom DJ can beat one off while people write about how good it is. Letting him then think he is as good as Sasha or John Digweed, .he just never got the break they got.

If were to get a real 6 hours of Sasha & John Digweed I say it should be this one. We all want it and have been told that it was recorded but not released. This is the one we all deserve. hey superwave, whats the most decent 3 - 4hr or so set?? So disappointed by not having a super long set of theirs!

also shame its such a fake, but the guy does drop one super peaking track at 1:00.00, does anyone know the ID to this?

also you guys will be in a treat for any new sets coming up, i saw sasha a couple of weeks back in Brisbane Australia, he made a new set up apart from dropping his ladytron remix, really nice stuff.. i hope a set surfaces shortly..

There best performance is definantly Southfest 05, yet others like Temple Of Love Serman1 93, Hacienda 94, Ace Of ClubsBoxed95, Housemasters95, Simons 96, IN 96, Twilo 96, Groovejet 99, Twilo EXPOSURE 99, & Space WMC 2006 are all 2&1/2 hours long and good as well. Sets like Starzx2 96 & 99, Delta Heavy EM 02, DH BUZZ 02, & DH Kiss Mix 02, EM Renaissance 04, Kiss Mixes 05-08, & the JJJ 06 mix are all just 2 hours and usually have completely known tracklists. Others like US Fall Tour 01, Spundae 99, JJJ 97, Summerfest 06, & Bonnaroo 07 maybe longer and have great sounds, yet also have crowd/ distortion sound from recording processes. I have a list in here rankin my favorite sets from The Men-Like :P, but be ready to find sets on it that arent the best of quality yet have the better feel of LIVE or track diversity use. Some of my favorite short mixes they have done are; Grooveradio 97, Guvernment 98, Homelands 00, Congress 01, DJMag Kiss Mix 01, Delta Heavy Detroit 02, Ultra & Colours 03, UltraFest 07, & Inox Fest 08.

If there is a Sasha & Digweed set that is better/longer than Southfest. I would like to hear it. The set i saw in trhe spring was great at only 3 hours & 45 minutes yet fails compaired to AUTOCINEMA.

I didnt download the set. I was there the night of the 27th of march at Mansion ... A couple of friends record the last 90 minutes of that set and the ripped into mp3.

Fantastic night ... one of the best gigs in my life ... but they played 4 hrs 30 min ... not 6 hours.
