There are so many wrong things about this so called Babylon set its amazing...

First off... a measly Google search and you would of learned that "Club Babylon" was in fact a club in GREEN[B][I][U]S[/U][/I][/B]BORO, NORTH CAROLINA in the 90's. Therefore, the title "Babylon, Greenboro, New York, USA" is obviously incorrect.

Second, as superwave quoted above, yes Jibgolly (RIP) was actually present at [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/URL]'s set at The Rub, Tampa, Florida on 5/26/1999.

Personally, I have taken Jibbly's word for it and called the set The Rub, Tampa and have removed anything that has Babylon, Greensboro in the title. Of course Jibbly did say he was on a head full of Acid etc at the time, so he could be wrong but that's all I had to go on.

Then of course, you have this guy from page 2:

This is a very well programmed mix with the trademark Sasha journey and a gradually increasing tempo over the 4 hours.

Because someone at some point relabelled it. Maybe to get some exposure for their club night, who knows. The date is correct, hopefully a flyer will turn up one day, but I doubt it. The Rub set was originally dated as 2000, so I reckon it is most likely the fake.

its a mystery, lol.... his greatest set ever played and no one really knows where it all went down.....

i do agree the date is definitely correct...if i had to guess it was some one-off party in Greensboro,North Carolina, that wasnt unheard of at the time in the states. still isnt, but in a smaller city like Greensboro it is nowadays, but not back in 1999...and its on the east coast between Florida and NYC. it could have been a regular club night, but no one has mentioned remembering the place, so i assume it was a one time thing...aka a "rave" 8)
