Accessible kiddy trance shite for juvi EDM twats. All nicely wrapped up with a top drawer benders anthem.

Hey Dermy, how are you?

True, is trance the new fad?

Re: Sasha @ Tomorrowland July 2018 - Atmosphere / Pryda stage

^Accurate assessment Lord Lucan, but rule one as a DJ play to your crowd. Also I'm not sure "bender anthems" is a recognised EDM sub-genre, haven't seen a Beatport chart for it as yet.

All good ta mate.

And yes the trance wheel has been invented yet again. Whenever you want to drum up some global interest simply crack open the obvious almost Tiesto trance for those spoon fed EDM spackers to shake their glow sticks at. Cash in pocket, thanks for that, see you later.

Try and catch one of their resistance gigs. Make sure you have a sick bag handy though. Absolute bollox.

Re: Sasha @ Tomorrowland July 2018 - Atmosphere / Pryda stage

Well i must missing something but i can't hear A SINGLE trance sounding track in this set lol What I hear is some bangin techno tracks mixed with few mellower or softer tracks at the end wich i dont understand because Adam Beyer was up next so i was expecting Sasha to do exact opposite - to play softer at the beginning and harder at the end but what do i know?!

Beast of a track:

Re: Sasha @ Tomorrowland July 2018 - Atmosphere / Pryda stage

Thought it was great. I think peoples idea of "Trance" differs, as i dont recognise any tracks as Trance.

Much prefer Sasha banging it out more than his usual plod prog.

Thought the lighting looked great in there to.

Re: Sasha @ Tomorrowland July 2018 - Atmosphere / Pryda stage

I can imagine a load of meth'd out clubbers dancing to this, but that doesn't make it good, far from it. This is an ear ache of a set from start to finish. Computerised jive-bunny 90's style tech / cheese / house with predictable relentless effects shoe horned in just doesn't work. You want to like it, after all it's our British born Sasha, but then you think, hold on, this is absolute torrid rubbish. This is a DJ who goes from electro house sets, then in another venue it's house, then it's classic house, then Balearic, then minimal then it's back to something else then onto chill out and ambient. Whatever the style, this a DJ who quite frankly is fast becoming a laughing stock. A DJ who has completely lost his identity. Ironically, some of his most recent acclaimed work are his chill out sets made from the music he listens to when he arrives back from a club. Well, maybe he should stay in more. Once a peak time club DJ guaranteed to blow the roof off to selling ambient CD's. What does that tell you?
Sorry, but unless you're on animal tranquillisers, and are rarely let out this set could have been by any DJ

Really want to know that opening track 1001 tracklists has it as Dead Can Dance - The Host Of Seraphim, but its certainly not the original, maybe a vocal sample only

Surely it has to do with this and i even didn't listen this one yet.. in fact i wouldn't care to listen any Tomorrowland music. It´s an amazing festival .. that´s all and it´s ok imo

Is it Stu? You sure about that, Stu? That's some spot, Stu. Even though its already up there in the tracklist at 61 mins , Stu?

Its all kinds of ironic but its now time to live by your quote, Stu "When you stop striving for perfection, you might aswell be dead"

Let us know how youre going to do it. A vid or something as proof you've followed it through would be just great.

What else you can deliver to Tomorrowland kids? They don't understand real music. People fall asleep with Solomun, Carl Cox..

I mean, agree with your comment-questions..Yes, it's a stupid Tomorrowland.

This set is far for being great, zero skills in it, but who cares from audience? maybe 10 people really love Sasha, the rest have no idea who is he. And have also feeling how soundQ is ultra low, not talking about mp3...
