I've got this one. Pretty different artsy set. Is straight from the master i think, which by my calculations (non [EMAIL="B@TV"]B@TV[/EMAIL] sets) is the first one around since ushuaia closing party 2011 or even Panorama bar? Insane right? Has some werid L/R channel things happening at one point. Would like to know the song near the 1hr 20min mark. Thanks!

Seems so if you go on the website? It doesn't 'sound' like Sasha to me although what does he sound like really?
Just never thought I'd hear him Play Dusky, and producers like that. His style has changed so much since I first saw him, and I'm a young buck - it was only 2010! That's when I got into the techier/progressive sound. Much preferred his sound around that time, still sometimes he plays some tracks and you just think WOW. The fairly recent San Diego set was fantastic..
I was completely lost in the middle of this Liquified mix. At least 4 tracks (and I haven't finished the mix yet) seamless, beautiful - really dreamy! That's the Sasha I love!

the last 20 mins or so shows it, also the hot chip remix in the end,,,i remember also reading a comment about a review for the night saying that sasha played hot chip' flutes towards the end...so i think we finally got a sasha set

Haha When hasn't he played flutes toward the end for the last 12 months? A very complex fake that somebody is spending far to much time trying to be sasha rather than himself. Give aways are The healing and XX noticeably a lower bitrate. Paul Mad played at the wrong speed. No other unreleased involver tracks on it anywhere and far too many tracks from earlier on in the year that he's not playing anymore. Not the right delay/effect even though its close there's more filter than ping pong. Proper nerd stuff but thats the difference.
C+ , must try harder.

obviously the XXX and the Healing are signature tracks of his and not available to likes of us....but is it me or are those two tracks v low audio quality on here...ie someone has ripped them off one of his mixes....

I was skeptical. Still - some lovely tracks in it. Love that track that say's 'my love has no Pride' in it. Sad as it is I enjoyed this more than any recent Sasha Official mix :-)

sure could be fake but this was from a review of the night written few days after the event that kinda makes it sound legit

Regarding flutes that could be a write up for any mix in the last 12 mnths. Although this mix is fraught with loads of over the top Zabiela'esq nonsense. Which is another reason i thought it was fake. What was he on?

Hard to be certain about this one. Saw him in San Francisco a week before this October 26th event and was playing playing pretty much the same tunes in this mix, like Flutes, Don't Go, Cherokee, Things We Never Wish For, that really long drawn out track.

So the promoter openly gave out a Sasha set with unreleased involver material on it at 320? Legitimately? if it wasn't i take it he wants to be sued and never promote again? If he did just give it out it makes the story is even less likely to believe.

Yeah when I first listened I thought just the whole thing sounded strange too but it's from the promoter, an Atlanta institution with ties to Sasha since the 90's. That stil unknown inv3 track hasn't been played on air anywhere that I can think of, though I've heard it live at a few events.

Still find it amazing that he's spent the last god knows how long trying to stop people coming anywhere near any recorded involver material , especially The healing mix and then suddenly he lets a completely unhindered 320 rip of it out. Still doesn't seem right.

I saw Sasha at Circus X Liverpool (Sept), Loft Studio's London(Nov) and WHP Manchester (Dec).
This sounds like a legit set to me. He's played these tunes in various combinations at all of these gigs.
Cat Power - Cherokee always sounds lower quality on recordings and streams as it seems to be a Sasha bootleg rather than an Involver 3 recreation?
It may be officially posted by Liquified but I don't believe it has Sasha's blessing? as either Sasha or his management would have tweeted a link for it?
Also I believe Sasha masters his DJ sets and he would not release a set with any sound quality imperfections?
It all remains a pretty unfortunate state of affair's that no official live set has been made available since August 2011 in some form? Even edited to remove Involver 3 tracks? Maybe Sasha believes their isn't a need anymore as he appears on live streams/broadcasts with some consistency?
I believe he may have recorded Loft Studio's and live in hope he may eventually share this set? Maybe to coincide with Involver 3's release?
I personally hope this is his last Involver project? I would rather he released GU style mix CD's with regularity containing the odd Sasha production/ remix. And of course shared his set's on a consistent basis via soundcloud. Last years Mixmag cover CD was at least one positive.
Love the selection of tracks starting at 1hr 9Min and 30 seconds. Sounding Paul Kalkbrenner'ish though not from his latest album. Defiantly Sasha at his best and why he remains the only DJ I regularly go out of my way to hear :)

I stand corrected. Just listened to Zabiela's healing original and the track beginning at 1hr 9Min and 30 seconds appears to be Sasha's version.

Regarding unkonwn tracks (inv3?) the track that begins around the 52min mark is the one I believe is still yet unidentified. I could be wrong, but havent seen it posted. If anyone knows it lemme know...
Also just a note that may or may not be helpful, i remember in that Burn studios interview from the summer Sasha said he was only playing MP3's these days, and you could hear the difference on weaker sound systems without good club processing, maybe this is taken from the master channel before it got to the clubs compressors, eq's, etc?
