shame, i hate the twist that Sasha Mix of James Zabiela - The Healing took, its power is totally lost compared to the Diego set version. i hope its not this one on invol3ver.

I think hes going to release a diff version of the Hot Chip remix on invol3ver , like he did with the Uncle track back on the first one !.

I completely agree the stripped down version of Flutes is good - but the San Diego version and one he played at Warehouse renaissance is epic. I love that build up and the bips and bleeps alongside that robotic voice..

Hope Involv3er is worth the wait..

The smalltalk remix is not Four Tet - it's very good though whatever it is (one of the tracks of the mix) Maybe an Involv3er mix? There's a track at 19: and it very much reminds me of Nicolas Maseyeff's style - a bit like Mugen. it's a stand out in this mix.

Overall I'd say it's quite a nice listen, but it's a bit lackluster, where are those trademark sasha 'hands in the air' moments. It's all a bit bouncy and safe.. That catz and dogz remix is a dog of a tune.. a whiny spazy Horse drug jam I'd expect that kind of track to be in a dirty-bird mix - not Sasha. I'm not a huge fan of this new style crossover house. Sounds like the same tune with a different bassline a lot of the time. it's very lazy (I.E dusky etc)

Sasha must include the very first version of the Healing and Hot Chip remixes, the ones we expect the most, and loved from first listen !.

Who am i to judge but from his latest sets, it sounds like Mr Alex is getting influenced from several untasteful genres that surround the scene nowadays, rather than following his roots and ears, i think he needs to take a break and come back with a Booom!! and say... there you have it ... invol3ver :D

ps We really need to have the San Diego set someday !.

I don't see why he keeps messing with these remixes he has done. The versions he played in the San Diego mix of The healing and Flutes were amazing, now I hear these new versions and the are very bland and minimal. I hope these are not the ones he puts on inv3. The more and more he messes with these tracks the worse they sound.

MOST likely because he was playing at a beach on a sunset slot. Do people where u live realize that u have to play different depending on the setting????

Thank you very much for the ripped set. I wish you all could have been there live to listen. Nothing like listening to Sasha with your feet in the sand. BPM was amazing and I can't wait to go back next year.
