My first message on here, but simply had to comment on the brilliance of this set.. love the energy through the crowd, closest to being there, i was going to see [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url] at Warehouse project but had to cancel.. the last half of this mix he's just slamming them down..

Many Thanks to the poster, and the IDer's. Recognised a few tracks off his Mixmag Cd but they sound so much better in this, I wonder why?

I think the reason is the power of a big sound system combined with the reverberation of the room. Just sounds different than it does in the studio or at home.

i've always wanted a mix i've done to have that sound, never gotten a chance to get someone to record one of my live sets in a club, but would be nice to see how it would sound like this. Yup, recorded the full 2 hours. Really solid recording. Used the new [URL="http://tascam.com/product/im2/"]Tascam iM2[/URL] instead of the Sony PCM-D1. Quality is ALMOST as good... listening to it now. I'll be switching back to the PCM-D1 for venues where I can get it in, but this thing is SUPER NICE for the size and price. Only $70 and connects to your iphone. People thought it was a battery extender ;)

When I get to the office Monday I will beef up the audio like I did with the Avalon one and upload it. It's in bad need of some EQ and mastering.

He did something I've never seen before, which was play for a complete hour then STOP. Then play a different set for another hour.

First hour was new involver stuff and second hour picks up the pace. Personally I liked the avalon set I recorded more, but this one isn't bad at all. The involver stuff is good, but a bit slow in a club environment.
