i,ve waited since 2005 for this to happen as its easily one of the best mixes i,ve ever heard and without tongs voice over it BONUS

just a pity that its obviously a bootleg as certain songs have the same distantly live sounding recording such as the essential mix has

i would pull out my back teeth for [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]sasha[/url] to release this mix in a double cd based on the actual ableton live wave rather than the recording that radio 1 took

p.s. cant thank simon enough for uploading this :D... brought a huge smile to my face when i saw the facebook post :lol:

I think this is the actual live wave, not the bootleg, cause if you notice the intro doesn't includes the "Connecting To Radio 1 Frequency".

if an essential mix airs on Radio 1, it doesn't mean that they have the actual rights to release it. in some point, this release has nothing to do with Radio 1. cheers !.

Not to mention I was there standing right next to [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/URL] for the first disc... Now disc 2 I dont remember as well because my little fun friend I took started to kick in... :-)

I will say that Sasha came back on at like 3 or 4 AM and killed it with another set

I agree that the Avalon cd was a novel idea, discs were pretty good too.. I have number 777 :)Thanks for this maida vale set, still is one of my favorite emixes to date

i wouldn't agree m8, if u listen to kiss ya lips is still got that "distant" mic recording feel to it that the radio 1 recording has
