It´s good stuff that both of you responded to this, I don´t know if you like this sort of idea, but I would really like you to do a mix each for my podcast, in the near future.

As you might know, there is a certain philosophy behind the guest mixes. It´s not really about doing techno or prog mixes, but more about showing a "different" side of the guest´s music. That means, if you come from a house or deep house background, for example, you might enjoy having a channel to show a different side to your musical personality. Maybe you have a big taste in 80´s synth-pop and would like an "excuse" to do a mix of that genre. Maybe you like soul and blues and would like to create a sort of mixtape. Or maybe you actually also like dark techno and never did such a mix because you´re afraid of alienating your fans. Whichever way, I would be glad to display your "different" mixes in my podcast.

No schedules or deadlines, if you´d like to do it, take as much time as you need, but funky and ribbs, consider this an invitation for being my fisrt international guests :)

I want to say it's been about 8 years since I've spun some classics and by classics I mean 89-93. I've been ripping them to digital so I have a slew of them out.

feather, yep, I try to make my mixes symetrical, 1st quarter is the build-up, then I try to bring it down in the last quarter... a few years ago I had this tendency to leave all the banging stuff until the end, but nowadays I prefer to build an "arch" with the mixes... maybe it´s me getting old, but I find myself prefering mixes like that these past couple of years.

I prefer the rollercoaster effect. Ups and downs is the way to go for me and I usually build my sets this way.
