Not Gus, but I'm answering this one anyway :lol: I had heard a couple of Charlie May's mixes, and while they made me interested enough to see him they certainly didn't blow me away. But that two hours he played for us that night were two of the best hours of my clubbing life and there were a whole lot of us who felt the same. We just felt incredibly privileged to be there. :D And nine months later we still feel the same. :D

Believe me this is a case where even Gus's posts aren't enough to say how amazing this person is. :lol: If you have a chance to see you have to go. :D

Just for the record although I appreciate his mixes more now, I still think you had to be there. :lol: As I keep saying Electrifying.!!! :lol:

May makes a much greater impact on me with his production than his mixes. Seems to have a very crisp and modern vibe in his sets, but nothing that really opens the flood gate. Can't forget, however, that he was one of the studio masterminds behind the first Airdrawndagger album, nor his epic 'Bug' double EP including the stormer 'Behemoth' (featured as the opening track on Cass' Spundae Interpretations mix). I have witnessed transcendental sets by Howells, Fanciulli, Zabiela, and Van M to name a few, hopefully Charlie will stun us all with one soon.
