I don't like this set tbh. It has some nonmusical parts, basically missing the flow and to me, it sounds just like a "showroom" of jz's skills. There are only very few artists who can jump from one genre to another and keep the sound intact (Kraak&Smaak, Laurent Garnier). I know James does some of his work this way and he can be absolutely fantastic when playing real dance music for a crowd but he seldom utilizes it when doing radio/commercial sets :(

Definetly a grower. First listen i thought what the fuck are all these tunes at the begining about but then the tempo ups itself and the rest of the mix was great. Now on my fourth listen i think the whole thing is brilliant.

i've listened to this set several times in just a few days... reminds me of the danny howells' em back in 07 just because its a little bit out there. i still think it's awesome... the beginning is the best part! so many abstract song especially starting off with dnb. it takes a creative imagination to be able to mix these songs together so fluidly.
