I heard him in DC in the summer and he played really chunky tech-house and techno the whole time and it was awesome. Sometimes he goes too minimal for me but when he grooves it's fucking on.

To zee trash it goes. Sound quality is a little crispy too, no? I can't help but still think when I listen to him that " this is the same guy from Deep Dish, who used to play some border line cheezy house music right".

I think for a short time Deep Dish where brilliant. Their sets from 2000 to 2003 where brilliant. I think it all went down hill with Flash Dance, it was the beginning of the end.

You know me I never really got into deep Dish, I tried but even that Moscow set went to zee grabage. It's prolly a case of having a pre-conceived opinion bout them but whatever, so Chunky did u like this set?

Couldn't agree more... I was really hoping for some banging tech house or techno, that very first track put me off and while skipping thru nothing really grabs :what

I used to like some of old Deep Dish stuff too (Toronto GU is a great one imo).. The beginning of the end for me was in 2003.. They were playing at Pacha in Buenos Aires and believe it or not, at some point they played some weird remix of some miserable tune from... Elvis Crespo! :shock: .. They were looking for some kind of latin vibe i guess but.. no..

You can imagine the reaction of the crowd.. Almost kill them.. not kidding at all.. a reaction i never saw before..
