The party he was playing at here was about 10 times worse than I thought it would be.. Incredibly oversold, incredibly hot , incredibly dangerous trying to go up and down spiral staircases!! The hand bag and high heels girls were out in full force getting incredibly drunk !! It wasn't fun giving up my place in the toilet line to let some drunk spew !! ! knew the music would be pretty mediocre , so no surprise there . :) In all fairness techno is not my thing. But Dave Pham always seems to make it fun !!

To make matters worse , the mainroom toilets decided to start gushing forth watered down sewage!! :lol: Probably due to the pressure of overcrowding !! Audion's visuals didn't work!! He gave up and gave us a straight Dj set, which although it started off a bit fluffy, was great!!

Ok finally at 5.30am Dubfunk comes on , a lot of the crowd left when Audion finished , but Dubfunk was going great , and building a really nice crowd , and I mean really nice , don't know where they came from but they were great. Really into the music , the best dancers, it was hard to believe this was actually the same event. :D Then at 6.30 they shut him down :( We were stunned. He didn't even get the 1 1/2 hours :(

Having said that I would go through all that shit, literally in some cases :lol: , for that one hour.!!! He is just so good !!! :D

Thanks di! I can't imagine waiting until 530 to see him, only to have 1/3 of his (already too short) set cancelled. I would have been fuming. I took a look at their thread in the itm melbourne forum a few days ago, and it wasn't too pretty in some places :lol:

I go from being really grateful I was there for that brilliant hour of music, to yelling WE WUZ ROBBED!!!

What an amazing Dj though. !! He went from being this nice unassuming guy to this amazing presence on the decks. !! :D
