True, Luke's mixes have been in short supply lately.

I thought his Sullivan Rooms mix was one of the worst ones I had ever heard from Luke, but judging by the comments thus far, Luke seems to be back on track - looking forward to listening to this :)

Or may be it was because the mix came off the back of the discoteca and Just FM mixes which were stunning :)

So you don't like his old stuff then?:what I think funky house describes what he played up until 1-2 years ago. I also don't think that sullivan room was very "funky". To each their own I guess.

Maybe I have a different view of 'funky house' since the clubs around by me (in Cardiff) are polluted with the stuff :)

Also, I dont think the Luke Fair mixes he put out on KISS FM (which is what got me into Luke Fair back in the day) had a more solid house edge.

Onto Danny Howells :) I did think he was the best, esp when he was putting out his marathon mixes around 4-5 years ago, he's def not upto that standard anymore, albeit he does play a different style nowadays.

Best house DJ for me at the moment is Dana Bergquist.
