I got this from Darren on TA. The date has to be early 2000, it similar to the El Rey Theater set 04.06.2000 but slightly earlier. I just joined the 2 parts together. Its 2 hours.

This is vintage Oakenfold ... would have made for a great Courtyard night with some of these gems.

Re: Paul Oakenfold - Recorded Live Vo2 & 3 (2000)

i'm dubious about the authenticity of this!

the tracklist isnt just oakie. there are tracks thrown in there that oakie wasnt playing but sasha was.

apart from that some of the mixing is off. i've seen oakie many a time during this period and this mixing was never like this.

i'm not convinced!

:shock:Are you sure you listened to this mix. All the tracks I've ID all appear on Oakies EM's in between Aug 1999 & Feb 2000. I dont think anyone else had the Orkidea Remix of Space Manoeuvres until a long time later. Plus the Wonky & Solar Stone where massive Oakenfold tracks at the time. UBIK was always the second or third track of Oakenfold's sets back then The only track I found odd was the Roaches track. I would say text book Oakenfold. I went to see him every weekend from Sept 1999 till March 2000 at Home in London and his return to Cream on May Bank Holiday

yes i've listened to this mix!!!

and i to was an oakie regular back in them days.

this set does sit right! the progression and tune selection (for me) doesnt fit. yes there are some big oakie tunes. but it doesnt flow like an oakie set.

then as i have said the mixing is pretty god damn awful. i have never heard oakie drop mixes as wanky and hard housey as some of those here. never! never! in all the times i have seen him has he done that annoying cut in and cut out. if he has the knew what he was doing, as on this tape its out of time and fudge jules would be ashamed to say its one of his!
