Re: James Zabiela @ Closing Kazantip'08

the mixing is terrible at the beginning (from 70 mins on), i wonder if james was having technical difficulties?

I used ribbs original file and used chunky's naming format after that I used hjsplit to remove the intro set and split the file into 3 parts with no fadeouts then i used mp3gain to reduce the db levels to approx 90 dbs.

This is what i got.

160 kbps cbr quality.

Re: James Zabiela @ Closing Kazantip'08

So does James start with what sounds like a breakz version of Carl Orff' - Carmina Burana

It's the 1st track after those 2 mc's stop talking at approx 72 minutes in.
Yeah i think he plays around with Carmina Burana as he starts
i thought the same when i heard it live

i felt a bit disappointed when i found the track was like that. i was all like "wooow.. listen what he's doing LIVE!!!" during Moonpark.

it's Myles Dyson - Live in Mexico (original mix) out on Plasmatool

Re: James Zabiela @ Closing Kazantip'08

No way is this James Zabiela.

Whoever it is, forgot to bring a fader down after a mix-out at about 2:08:13. It stays like that for nearly 30 minutes.

What trash.

Re: James Zabiela @ Closing Kazantip'08

Judging by the tracks I'd say it's him. A lot of same tracks he played a week later in Helsinki.

Sounds to me like he had some really bad technical difficulties.

Re: James Zabiela @ Closing Kazantip'08

Hmm... It sounds like they've somehow taken the feed from an FX send or something. Do me a favour and don't bother listening to this! Awful... My mixing isn't that bad! lol

Jz :)
