Re: Lucas Abadi @ Wavesurfing | Proton Radio
because they are members of the forum...
also it works, most ppl only enter to the P&R, so this atracct more ppl...
but for your question is because they are members thats all, not being nazi or any sort of that!...
So Ricky Ryan.. he is a member.. when he posts his sets they go in here? Haven't seen it happen yet..
What about if Dubfire posted a set? What if Lawler threw one up?
Somehow I doubt they would end up in here.. :D
Just saying.. that if a world respected and recognized DJ takes the time to post sets, then they should stay in the main area to get maximum attention. Most people don't come in here, you're right. I feel like we shouldn't punish a DJ for self posting by moving his sets though.. we should be encouraging the hell out of it!
Not trying to say that just because someone is on that level that they should be elevated and worshiped by having the "privilege" of being in the other section, but that if the music, production and recognition is such that they should be grouped in with that section, then they should stay in that section. Shouldn't matter how we got it.. whether they post it, I post it, or my dog posts it.. I feel that if it's of the caliber and recognition to stay with the big names, then they should stay with the big names.
I guess the question is where do you draw the line? When has someone "arrived" enough to stay in the P&R section? Subjective, I suppose.. Maybe I take it personally because honestly in my heart I think that Lucas is frickin completely top notch, putting out mind blowing sets, and really just waiting to be fully discovered by the masses..
Just my $0.02..
