ll this week, you can hear classic Essential Mixes chosen by Radio 1 DJs. On Monday 24, Annie Nightingale chooses Daft Punk from 1997. On Tuesday (Christmas Day) it's David Holmes' Northern Soul mix chosen by Zane Lowe. On Wednesday 26, the legendary Paul Oakenfold Goa-inspired mix from 1994 is played out courtesy of Pete Tong. Thursday 27 sees a replay of the Tiesto mix from 2001 thanks to Judge Jules, and on Friday 28 Annie Mac presents 2005's Radio Soulwax mix.

I have never heard this Daft Punk set - anyone remember another set they did for Tong's Friday night show, I think it was a New Years Day set? 2 hours long, was quality........

is this broadcasted on 24-12-2007 or it's broadcasted from 10 years ago which mean 1997 coz I can see that the date is 2007 and 1997 so I'm little bit confused

GOA mix is classic. people that listen to electronic have to listen to this at least once.

bonga - it was first broadcast in 1997 on Radio 1. They are re-broadcasting it in 2007. Seems like every dj is picking their favourite EM from the past 15 years and rebroadcasting it (A good idea in my book).
