So how do we downloads to work, this link, and all my tries on the site are for .htm

not an .mp3

it only redirects back around to the site, do we have to register and login first?

you dont need to register, read notice on the left: dont use download managers right click save as on Download or try firefox

right click and download as is ... it dL's an .htm redirect link, its not an .mp3

I can try firefox, but why is not an .mp3. Even look at your link here, its the same .htm extension. Its strange, I tried on 2 PC's and the same issue. Never have this problem with any other site. I don't get it really.

It's meant to redirect you to that page where you simply scroll down below the tracklist and save customarily using the "download" text link.

The host where the MP3 resides simply has direct downloads disabled and requires incoming download requests by way of newmixes.com

EDIT: If you're using Vista and/or IE7, it appears what you're experiencing is endemic to them. Both Firefox and IE6 properly download the MP3.
