Hi All, I saw a thread requesting chilled, downtempo mixes and I thought I would add a few of my favorite mixes. I downloaded these from tranceaddict a few years ago from a couple of DJs, and they still sound great. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. If anyone knows of any DJ sets that sounds similar to these please let me know. I especially love the middle-eastern sounds in ambient mixes. Thanks in advance. Peace.

Suggestion: maybe we should merge this with the other ambient thread....and create a sticky thread for these kind of sets? These kind of sets seem to be pretty rare and it might be nice to be able to go to one spot for them rather than having them be lost so quickly.

pardon my ignorance but how do u download this? I click on the links and am forwarded to filefront with a videogame download window on the main page and no sign of a download link..

Hi all. At this time, it seems that these files cannot be downloaded for some reason. I contacted via email customer support at filecrunch to get some answers. If for some reason I have to re-upload them on a new file host website I will. Anyone have any suggestions as to some with at least over 100 MB file size and with a long file life--hopefully unlimited? Sorry about this everyone. I will stay on top of this situation.

Quick question for you DJ's. If a mix has been uploaded to the net on a music shared website by a DJ to promote the mix and themselves, can someone else upload it to other music shared websites to be downloaded by others for listening enjoyment? The reason I pose this question is that as far as I know, these above mixes have already been downloaded and shared by many. Can anyone shed any light on the legality of this? Peace.

From what I understand, it is perfectly legal to share, especially if forwarded to the web by the Dj himself. He/She has publicly posted the set, and its out there, also the legality issue is concerning commercially sold material usually, which is for profit, both by the Dj and the enterprise selling the commercial CD's, store, website, etc. I'm not a lawyer, its just what I understand to be true. Radio shows are also fine to share as well.

Btw, the divshare link is a good one, not extremely fast, but clean, no garbage popups, or popunders, or redirects, its nice. thx again.
