not been on here in a while but if anyone can find or upload these two essential mixes i would be very gratefull.

the cj mackintosh one is live from the ministry of sound in 1994, it had pete tong overlays, the reaosn im saying this is there is a dodgy mix doing the rounds calling its self this essential mix when it isnt.

thank you!!!! awesome but the cj mackintosh one is the first mix he done that year, the live broadcast from the ministry was in october i think, it had tunes like love happy message of love, cover ups, pamela fernandez on it.

arrrgggg no this is the fake one. for years there was a fake one doing the rounds saying it was cj mackintosh from the minitsry. if u listen to the mix they are all different tunes and there are no pete tong overlays

Thanks for the info i marked that set as fake i will try and get a copy of the original i know it was posted on themixingbowl.org before but there are no seeders at the moment anyway if i get a good copy i will let you know.

ok cheers mate, i used to have the version on the mixing bowl until my hard drive crashed soon after but from what i remember of it the last 30 mins (forgive my description here) was like when your tape went all wobbly and the sound slowed right down and then sped up again.

i find it amazing how this mix has gone unoticed for so long and that the fake one gets so many up and downloads

Just read ur thread of paul trouble anderson and cj mack essential mix. Both were wicked!!! I recorded them both on audio tape from the radio at the time, but have long since lost them. Would it be poss if you post the cj mack live set???? some top tunes on there that wud really bring back loadsa memories of sum top nites!!!

From what i understand when listening to this mix it's an hour prior to the EM. CJ Mackintosh from ministry of sound club and then a live special 2 hour essential. 5 parts at 320 kbps.
