Anthony has lost his touch. Sad to say he was another one of my favs but simply has lost it with everything he's done lately.

yeah, but i think he's right with pappa, he really used to be one of my favorites, but now i'm missing the flow in his set. it's nothing special anymore. ...just my opinion :wink:

I don't know, Pappa's Balance CD is the best stuff I've heard from him in 2 years. Disc 1 actually pulls off the coexistence of breaks & prog without being cheesy, and Disc 2 is full of dark dance floor thumpers. If anything, I'd say Pappa is coming out of the slump he was in about a year ago.

I think this promo set isn't that bad either, but the whole thing gets a bit boring a couple of times. He could have definitely done better.

yeah i too liked this promo set, it was better than the other one thats on his website. havent heard him in a while but last time i heard him he was great. hoepfully he comes to boston/nyc sometime in the future

I agree, he could have done better. Not bad mix, but just OK for me. Don't know his older mix sets, but hopefully he will pull together a jam'n set next time.
