Thanks everyone! Deceptive Cadence is indeed the mix entry that won me the contest.

It was kind of slow when I got on the decks at the Church at 8:30pm...but by the time I got off at about 10pm there was like 100-150 people or so. I kept it kind of groovy, funky and chunky as the opener. Desyn went on after that and John Digweed came on at about 11:30pm. Thanks to the folks at FutureMusic, Beatport and The Church I had a chance to show them my stuff at the afterparty at 2AM afterhours. There was a good crowd of like 300 or so people there and they really got into it. At any rate, it was an amazing experience. Denver has a really good scene.

I'm going to be opening for Kazell this weekend in Chicago and Milwaukee and will try to record it and post it to the Play Co. Web Site. Sign-up on our elist for updates.

Really looking forward to doing a mix for Ariel's radio show in December. Thanks for the opportunity Ariel!

On a different note. Anyone know how you can burn an audio CD using cue sheets on a Mac? Toast doesn't seem to work. I can burn .cue files with .bin files but not with .mp3, .aif or .wav. Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW, I've been thinking about posting cue sheets along with my sets on my site. Good idea? Do a lot of people use them?

I am going to be playing a 5-6 hour headlining set this weekend in Cancun. I'll try to record it and post it online for everyone to check out.

I'd say many people use cue sheets. At least from the responses I see. I use them every once in a while when I have to burn an audio CD but I mainly just burn mp3 and listen in the car, etc. Just wish they would come up with a way that iPods would recognize cue sheets...now that would be awesome.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

I've got some good news and more good news.

First, I just got a call from Mr. Digweed and he informed me he will be airing my mix on his KissFM radio show this Saturday! Whoo Hoo! If I am not mistaken that will be 3am UK time, 9pm US CST. Spread the word. :D I'm going to be out and about supporting a friend's gig so if someone can record it for me or post a link to the show that would be awesome.

Secondly, I was able to record my headlining set in Cancun. It's a 3.5 hour recording. I am a bit swamped with work, but I should be able to have it all encoded and uploaded by sometime next week. I'll post a link here as soon as it is up.
