Mother Love Bone was a Seattle based rock band active from 1988 to 1990. Frontman Andrew Wood's personality and compositions helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 80's/early 90's Seattle music scene. Tragically, Wood died only days before the release of their debut album Apple thus ending the group's hopes of success. Although Mother Love Bone is to this day remembered by many as a very talented band in its own right, its legacy is ultimately overshadowed by Wood's death and the bands that its former members would later form.

Recorded with Aiwa walkman-style cassette recorder with stereo clip-on mic onto TDK SA90. Tape transferred with Onkyo TA-RW313 onto Maxell Music Pro cdr with Pioneer PDR-509. Wav files made with Roxio Easy Media 8, and flac with Flac Frontend.

Sound quality gets a B-. Though the quality's not superb, I seem to recall that the Kill Yourself dvd doesn't sound a heck of a lot better. I've heard a few shows from this tour, and they all sound similar. The show itself was fun as hell. Anyone who wants to create artwork for this, it MUST be titled Fuck The Middle East. I left out the Number of the Beast/What's that noise intro, because they are recordings from commercially available sources. Dig the ballads. Enjoy!
