Re: Bill Hicks & Kurt Cobain documentary

Nirvana was for a long time, one of my favorite bands ever. But really, looking back I feel like Kurt Cobain was really whiny. Dave Grohl and Novoselic were extremely talented musicians as well and I'm sure they were a tremendous part of the driving force behind Nirvana as well. Also, I thought all Kurt's motions to piss off certain people (posing for the cover of Rolling Stone in the t-shirt condemnding corporate rock) was just lame. Do your own thing, you know? Who cares about other people? And the whole "it's cool to be depressed thing" was stupid. Not the PLUR is any better but...

The show was called One World, it was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday nights. Sasha did a mix from Glastonbury on it, in 2003.
