Hmmm ... not so sure about this. There were a couple of spots that were great, but just as many were ear-aggravatingly bad. That first track is awful.

Tini Tun ([url]http://www.myspace.com/tinitun[/url]) made a marvelous set, started at 11:30 PM and finished at 3:30 AM. His set lasted that much because the GU crew had to connect wires and install two MacBook Pro.

Freeland walked like one of us between the crowd, some high-fived him, and palmed his back. He was well recieved. Adam Freeland´s tracklist started with:

A remix version of Daft Punk´s "Robot Rock", I don´t know if it was his own remix but sounded like him. (similar to Mexico City´s Teaser, from 14:20 to 19:25)

Autolux´s "Blanket" Alex Dolby´s "Hazy Way" (Evil Nine remix) One of Benny Benassi´s new song from the Mexico City´s Teaser the one from 0:20 to 3:46 and the one from 9:52 to 14:19 Forme - Let It All Out (Tigerstyle)

And the first 90 minutes were awesome, he really rocked the house, I felt like attending to a huge rock band concert. He played mostly rocky songs that made evrybody jump while the GU crew shot footage and took pictures (which i hope i could get into the booklet, jajaja).

The rest of the set was breaks and rock, making awesome anchor points fades and imporvising all the time.It was great... we loved him!

Enough of that.. I skipped through it just before and shit i really don't know what the GU boys are doing. That sounded aweful. I did not need to listen to the mixing cause if the tracks are shit then no matter how well you mix its gonna sound shit.. But having said that i know this is only a sample (the bad bits hopefully) and i guess i will have to wait for the reactions from people who buy the full cd before i even consider buying it. There you go the taste master has spoken ;)

OH MY DEAR LORD!!!! HOLY MOLY...That first song gets my gizzard going. I want that track!!

After that. I think it lost the feel. The groove that was started with that first song was not continued into the rest of the set.

I am interested in hearing the full cd's though. Maybe even that live mix...if it ever gets out.

Adam Freeland's sound might have been fun five or six years ago when it was more breaks and not as much not novel electro-esque shite GU can no longer compete All the real playas release their own comps GU 33 will probably be David Guetta or some ponce like that, they a new monkey with better drugs to select artists for GU releases and lets here it for Jibby for spilling his emotions while intoxicated, hooray:Alchy :Cheerz: :glowsticks:

No kidding, his sound was pretty unique and I loved it! I'm downloading this even though after reading all these comments I'm a little dissapointed as I was hoping for the old Freeland sound yet again... I guess no point in looking forward to the GU comp... its a shame some dj have to grow.
