I honestly can't believe Nova100, leading FM radio station of anything POP in melbourne had the rights to this festival!

Of course they recorded John Course, Bob Sinclar...shocking performances! But...I have to say, the Aussie ads took these sets. Finally the world is exposed to Frank Walker and National Tiles!

Darren Emerson and Trentmoller apparently had the best sets of the day, so I'd keep an eye for the later.

My favorite work by Emerson was easily his Uruguay GU. The music on that album was chugging and groovey house that was really energetic but not cheesy. Disk 2 touched up on a bit of techno that reminded me a lot of what he was playing way back in the day. There's some great producers featured (Deetron, Holy Ghost, Dave Clarke, 16B) as well.
The Halo & Hipp-E track "Funk Your Body" was incredible, and so is Bert Dunk-Groove Ya'll.
I think the parties that album is based must have been amazing because you had Tyrant down there back when they were a trio (Sasha, Richards and Burridge) and Punta Del Este is an absurd area.

His Singapore GU was also really good in my opinion, but everything else by him hasn't been very sustaining either.  Scorchio was awesome, but I wonder how much of that had to do with Sasha and how much had to do with Emerson.  

 Not to mention that I don't feel as though Underworld changed much after Emerson departed from it.

On the other hand, Darren's current projects are going very well for him as well, and the Underwater parties are always a big success. It's just gotten a bit too commercial for my taste though.
