[B][SIZE=3]WHO CAN SPIN:[/SIZE] [/B] All greater DC/Baltimore-area EDM DJ's can nominate themselves to be placed on the Buzzboard ballot. In order to clearly delineate who is eligible to spin all DJ's must live in the official, Census-defined greater DC/Baltimore metro area [B](**see list below)[/B].
[SIZE=3][B]HOW TO ENTER: [/B][/SIZE] In order to avoid confusion from people submitting their friends' names, only DJ's can nominate themselves by Wednesday, December 6, at 6 p.m. After 6 p.m. we post the full list of nominated names and every messageboard member can then vote for their favorite DJ in each music category.
If you know a DJ that you'd like to see spin at our NYE event, contact them immediately and encourage them to submit their name to us. [B]Remember all nominations must come from the DJs themselves.[/B]

YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER OF THE BOARD IN ORDER TO VOTE. Members will be able to vote for one DJ in each of the polls. There are 17 slots available so the top 17 DJs with the most votes will be selected.
[SIZE=3][B]WHAT WILL HELP YOU WIN: [/B][/SIZE] Promote yourself. Feel free to place mixes on the Buzzboard or on Myspace pages. Burn CD's to distribute to friends and strangers. Stay active on the board to get a sense of how some DJ's are able to win fans and converts. Most importantly recruit friends to help you. Many of today's top local DJ's got their start at our NYE events, which gave them the chance to capitalize on their popularity within the scene.
