It is a beautiful track. I was so happy when I found it a few months ago. Never heard Sasha drop this. I heard it on a Desyn set.

Re: Hott22

Get with the beat boys and girls, it's from October 2005..... Maybe if you broadened your musical listening to sets other than Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo, G&D (actually scratch them they only play their own production and remixes), Pappa et al you would actually pick up on tracks like this instead of fawning over an old track when one of the aforementioned "DJ's" plays it.

Rant over, no offence meant.

You've taken my original post completely out of context. So I'll have to explain further....

My point is, yes this is an old record but, people on here have only noticed it because a) Sasha played it at the WMC or b) someone heard it on one of the Myriad of Desyn sets (that all sound the same) from a few months ago

If people weren't so tunnel visioned, d/l the same old shit by the same old DJ then they potentially would have heard the track a long, long time ago.

It doesn't matter whether its played by Sasha, Desyn, John (RIP), Ringo, George or Paul McCartney. It's a great track but the lemmings wouldn't know that would they?

The 'F5' kids sit here every day hoping the next great Sasha (or whoever) set is going to be released and are then pissed off when it contains 70-80% of the tracks that were on the previous set they downloaded.

Believe me, there's a plethora of DJ's out there playing better music than most of the name DJ's. You have to search for them, not sit on a message board d/l'ing any old shit that's posted.

As I said in my last post, this was a rant and not aimed at any individual...

Sorry if you've taken it the wrong way. One more thing, please take my advice and don't burn your Beatles collection. It'll be worth a lot more money and contain more original material than the CDR(s) of Sasha's set next weekend at the Back Yardigans Rave in Lemmingsville. :)

Re: Hott22

hey Gig, I listened to the track she upped on Mega, and I can't figure out what is being said. Can you up a better sounding track. That one has the vocals buried in the background and the music up so loud its about impossible to get it.

Sounded like to me: ''But loves for a fool who found it, '' then something different and that part repeated.

I don't know ...

Saying "mmmm" in italian .. I mean that I'm afraid because I think that the woman in the song say more than what you wrote ... :(

Re: Hott22

I don't normally post here much, but I feel the need to after reading Zeptonite's comments.

Seriously, this guy is obviously a pretentious asshole.

Who cares if someone doesn't want to branch out beyond a few DJ's anyways?

Basically, this guy needs to get a life, why would you come on here to scold someone for listening to what they want to or liking a track that's been out for a while? That's idiotic and completely arrogant.

Well, I have to agree with you. He did sound like a total ass in the way he wrote it, but he may be just a straight shooter without meaning any harm, but its hard to see that in the way he wrote it the first time. Kinda argumentative and uncalled for on this thread also. But all that aside, I agree with him .... in what he's trying to communicate, not in the form he's communicating it.

Sasha is great, don't get me wrong, but I have also heard several better Dj's out there now.

See next...
Just curious, which underground Dj's would you recommend?
Well, Tarkan and V-Sag have been just kicking ass lately. Gabe de Wielen, D-Phrag, and the many Argentians: Gerardo is great, Paul, Victoria R, and Martin Garcia.

If I come up with another and remember I'll let you know here. Anyway, go get these Dj's sets. If you want progressive sound, they are so much better than Sasha, just not bigger ... yet. :)

Funny, that's what I was kind of thinking when I read your intial post...and I'm sure others were too.......that is the typical response when someone calls one out for being an asshole though.

#724751Post 30 of 43

Re: Hott22

Well, it was kinda funny. Not greatly funny, just kinda! :)

Like I said, I agreed with the meaning of what he was saying, but not with the way he communicated it. And I don't at all agree with him making sly comments about the track Elenoir likes so much. Not nice and unneeded, imo!

He certainly has a right to his opinion, and we have a right to put a boot up his ass for being an ass, even if I do think the pic was kinda funny and I agree with him a bit. I don't like asshole comments anymore than the next guy!

Oh, Sultan is another great Dj, btw.

If you like digweeds sasha's (or what ever dj) that's what you like, not everybody is out looking for new cutting edge expermential sounds.......

& the 'big name' djs are getting new tracks months before any up and commer could dream of getting them so the top jocks are pushing new music for there own sound.......

ohhhh, sshee's a pretty little green m&m Dusk. :)

I wish there was a way to pull the vocals out of the sound. Maybe a Dj could do this, otherwise I can't make anything of it.

If one of the Djs here could help her, I know she would be appreciative of their effort.

That's bull! and here's my response.

The divide between "big name" dj's and "up and commer" is diminishing all the time to the point where it's now virtually non existent. Before when vinyl was king, it could take a year or more to release a track and it was an arduous process. Now as digital downloads become the norm a track can be completed and out in next to no time.

If you take the recent Sasha, ZuHouse set as an example, the vast majority of the tracks on there are avaiable and only approx 3 tracks were what I would class as 'exclusive'.

"top jocks are pushing music for there own sound" - Rubbish, all DJ's whether it be "top jocks" or DJ Z-List are pushing music for their own sound.

Remember, this is my opinion and you can T.I.O.L.I.
