lee burridge and luke fair,i dont mind listening some essential mixes from them, it's not a poor selection,it's different taste in music, i dont like all the essential mixes,the show is about all the genders in electronic music, so i guess it has to satisfy everyone, i'm pleased with this year's mixes

Hernan Cattaneo should have been given atleast two EMs a long time ago, that man has some serious skills that Radio 1 needs to show off. 16 Bit Lolitas could be good if they spice it up a bit. Moonbotica perhaps? Oh, Dousk should get one. That would be sweet.

I'm not banging the trance BS guys, just fed up with the whole minimal techy thing that doesn't do it for me.
I too think it's odd that people like Cattaneo and Pappa have not had a sniff at an essential mix, yet some real unknowns have been on there, yet havent been heard of again
