Quite different taste to my own, but what he does he does very well indeed - so for lovers of darker, tribally, tech'ed up progressive this is where it's at. Get lost in it.

They were absolutely on fire that they kept playing overtime - the club security were throwing bottle tops at them to finally wrap it up, but they weren't having a bar of it. One of the best dancefloor nights of my life; no question. Take a listen and you'll understand why... the last half hour is especially good!

Dirty, druggy and a total head-fuck from a night at what is arguably Australia's best party series from Melbourne - Sunny. The lads totally turned my head inside out that night... I hope it does the same for you.

This was a big night at a big club, and I think it's probably the single most popular set from [I].AUdio[/I] from pre-2006. If you haven't had a chance to get a copy before.. well, what are you waiting for?!

It's fun to do this.. it's like browsing through an ever-so-slightly tattered photo album, and coming across those little gems that sprinkle the memory dust evenly across your loungeroom speakers. Yeehah. ;)

Special thanks must go out to all the artists who have been kind enough to share their music with me, and the rest of us - too many of you to list here, but goodonya! From my perspective, there's a whole bunch of promoters who have been really cool about some twerp coming in and fucking around with their gear. I´m sure I speak for everyone when I say I really appreciate you going to all the trouble to upload this MASSIVE collection.

Btw, does anyone else get the "download with premium" message when they try to get the Kasey Taylor set? I´ve gotten the Habersham one pretty easily, but there´s something weird with the Taylor set.

Uploading it is a piece of piss - getting the recordings organised, edited, approved and released is the hard (and sometimes expensive) part.

Re: Kasey - I think it's cause it's over the 'free' limit with megaupload... I'll push it through to sendspace, and I believe the JZ one might be suffering the same. Should be sorted within ~12 hrs.

There's plenty more where that came from... there's so much more in 'the collection' - both previously released and unreleased.

Yeah, I agree with you ... Kasey's set is absolutely faaaantastic. A classic example of why he's so damn good - he knows how to structure an extended set really well.

I think this is up there with the best extended set I've ever heard. There are not many sets over 3 hours that I would take the time to listen to straight through, but this is up there. I can only really think of the 5 hour Spesh set from 2005 that is as good as this Kasey set. 100% prefection in terms of mixing, tunes, programming

I agree with you Greg... it's definitely up there with the very best extended set I've ever heard too.

I remember I originally asked Kasey if he could do a 3 hour set; which was the length of [I].AUdio[/I] at the time. Obviously he did an admirable job of the first three hours. Then he emailed me and said "I actually did a bit more than I first gave you but it's a bit harder in the extra bit. Are you still interested?" ...needless to say, I think I made the right choice. :)

Glad you guys are enjoying the wares... do yourself a favour and make sure you check out the sets from the locals as well - often times they're better than the internationals in my opinion, but without the marketing machines behind them. Scott Oliver and Robbie Lowe are both perfect examples of the A-grade quality we're treated to here in Australia.

Also - if there's enough demand, then I could possibly be convinced to do another megapost... there's plenty for me to choose from. :)

Grant - Kasey is spot on, I noticed it is harder after the 3 hour mark. When it was first made available soemhow i managed to get hold of the first part up until Ocean of Blue, then my recording skipped about 30mins and started again with solar plaexus. My minidisk could only hold 160 mins so I think it cut out at the Jerry Bonham track, so there were large parts of the set I missed. I've lisened to the whole set complete now and it's amazing.

Please do post another update, you know the demand is there.
