I guess the date is wrong, but it is definitely Moshic @ TLV. It is NOT from 2002 like someone else said. It is actually August 8th 2004. Im sorry for any inconveniance. I just figured people would be happy to get a good Moshic set from the past, I didnt realize the date was off.

I think the 2002 is correct if its Tel Aviv. Moshic played in Tel Aviv in 04 but earlier in the yea, April I think. So if its from the TLV it not from august 04.

There was a set doing the rounds a few months ago with the date you supplied and it was actually from 02.

It cant be 2002, because not too many people even knew who Moshic was until his Essential Mix came out in 2003. Then after that, his sets have become more popular. Ive researched a bit deeper, and found out that this might be a set @ PACHA, Tel Aviv?? Is there such a place? If not, Im just gonna email Moshic and ask him. Also, there are tracks on this set that werent even out in 2002-2003, so it has got to be from 2004-2005. I will try to clear it up. Either way, its a GREAT set, and they are few and far between to get one of them.

Jay... Moshic is from Israel, thats where he started. I know for a fact this is July 4 2002 because thats when I got it was in 2002. its an old set, but very good

and its July 4 because 102fm broadcasted live from Pacha, dont know if they still do.

102fm broadcasted from TLV and other clubs live on thursday and friday of each week. July 4 is on a thursday.. April 7 is on a Sunday---so it cant be that.

the date is July 4 2002, im 110000000% positive.

anyone who knows anything knows mo shic from his domination of the israeli party scene and funky fish records right off of rechov sheinken. Then his track on plastic fantastic got a lot of love. It was on the lee burridge nubreed.

That being said, i'm not even sure how you came to the conclusion that because not too many people knew about him in 2002(which we've already established isn't true at all) that this set cannot be from 2002.

His essential mix is, like for so many artists, the reward for a lot of past success.

so lets review:

His popularity was cemented well before his essential mix, your logic is a bit off, and you have no idea what you are talking about.

Yes there is a club called Pacha in Tel Aviv, its on the beach front towards Jaffa. It's been closed for a while (or certainly no one decent has played there for the last three or so years]. It certainly wasn't open in 04.

Also since I have been living in Tel Aviv Moshic has played 4 times; 02 (Pacha), 03 (TLV), 04 (TLV), 06 (Haoman 17).

If you go to Moshics forum ([url]www.moshic.com[/url]) this set is discussed and date confirmed.

Just because you never heard of him prior to his essential mix does not mean he was not well known, in fact he was guest on Digweeds show, with the equally great Shlomi Zidan, in December 01.

It is a great set, you're wrong on the date. Enjoy the music and just face facts that we all make mistakes.

My fondest memory was of the night before they bombed the aquarium.

John Digweed played, Phil Thompson opened. By far the best party i've been to thus far. He opened with Lovely Day before anyone was playing lovely day. Oh man, when that riff came in....

Pacha TelAviv was the best club in the world. Better than Twilo, Space, etc.

Thanks for the information about this set. Obviously if you live in Israel, you are gonna know better than me (Who lives in RI). I didnt say that I didnt hear of him till the Essential mix, I just said it is when he really mainstreamed here in the USA. He actually lived in NYC for a while back in 2001, and Played at ARC- (cuz we went), and that was when I really started to like his sound. Once he moved back, Digweed had him and Zidan on the show- because they released their first collabboration remix. Either way, Ive been following his sets and productions closely since he surfaced in the USA. He is truely the Master of his Domain. Just wanted to share an old set that I found. Thanks for getting everyone off my back about the Date, cuz all I really wanted was to share the music.
