The only point being made was that it was an interesting article . I leave conclusions up to others who know soo much more than I :)

Btw Opus is not a problem for me at all. I can either play it on VLC or convert to a playable format through Audacity.

Talking about interesting . I have been playing around with Audacity I was looking to see if I it could alter the bit rate as seen by spek. Basically the answer seems to be NO which is what I w expected . Couldn't possibly be that easy surely.

Now I first met Hernan in Australia in 2006 and he gave me the Triple J mix file on a cd. It was supposed to be 192 at the time. I remember him asking me if I knew what MP3 was . :lol: Anyway I ran this through spek and tried exporting in other bit rates and they all seemed to work Including wav . If any would like to share knowledge on this it would be very much appreciated. :)

I really wish more artists had that mindset. Don't get my started on the artists & groups (looking at you PFG) who limit the audio quality of mixes or where it's uploaded so to not have an available download (talking about not allowing mixes to be "podcasts".

I'm gutted I missed him when he was playing in the UK last year, the timings just werent right. I do hope he comes back, none of us are getting any younger sadly. For now I'll enjoy the flawless mixing and programming (has anyone ever heard him slip a beat!?)

If you are listening carefully you will hear him do things that do not work for other Djs at all . !! :D He is technical perfection. !! :D

The reason Hernan is my favourite is that nobody else conveys emotion the way he does. !! :D The subtle changes he makes to track make such a world of difference. !! :D
