The way some people talk about this is unreal. It's ok, but there were far better Essential Mixes. Even in 2002, James Holden's, Roger Sanchez's, were both better than this.

Totally agree, its probably one of the dynamic duos poorest mixes and youve just reminded how good james holdens was . Off to listen to it :-) !

Tbh i like only Digweed's part of this set wich is actually the first hour..Sasha's part is rather forgettable..

I remember that they boardcast of this was delayed because Princess Margret, died. They replaced it with someone mixing dance music.

Completely agree. One of the most overrated Essential Mixes of all time. Just in 2002, Holden, Parks & Wilson, Layo & Bushwacka! and Danny Howells were way better. Just for starters...

I think that it doesn't help that it was part of a much longer set. I would be interested in hearing the whole thing.

Agreed, they themselves have much better EM's from that time period. I always enjoyed the one that started with 'Nalin & Kane - Live from the Crystal Palace (Bedrock mix)'. That sounded like the place was lifting off!
