So we are very excited to drop this on the Nation. It took a while and there were some SOLID tracks from what we were accumulating for May but we had a hard time putting together something cohesive on an elemental level. Luckily, June came along with some more freshness and a match was made that'll make you move. Whats up Merc Nation? Musically, Alex and I feel this is a real nice one here...some smooth mixing with some fatastic new joints...he dug his ass off to find some great tracks, and I even ventured out of the studio for a few days to garner some gems myself. Gave the mix a spin, and just starting it up for the second time. I really like man, lost of typical records, but a very subtle blend I must say. This mix is a.c.e. in my book!

I knew most of the tracklisting, but as I hate tracklistings for a reason, I was proved right by the mix feeling very different for the better than the sum of its listing.... Fun and funky with some nice kicks dropped in the right places (part of my pleasant surprise) i'll go back and listen to the mixes I havent tuned into before I'm sure, and I would love to jam out one afternoon with you guys and pick eachothers musical brains sometime soon.

its a cool place, and I have had a lot of fun b4, but the line-up can be a bit blech for my tastes and its fucking HOT out there.... but I wanna try and go a few times to give it another shot, the art is really amazing sometimes too, so i wanna check the new exhibits at least

I concur...tho the TL wasn't really made of records I know, it just made the surprise more pleasant to me ;-)
I gave it a few reruns on my winamp. Lemme know if this mix will be used in your show, otherwise I'm for having it on rotation on the station anyway...

What up, just wanted to throw some props out to HOLOSOUND for all the dope mixes over the past couple weeks/months. I drive between Boston and the western part of MA at least once a week and these sets have been my life blood for the long drives. Look forward to hearing more dope music over the weeks to come, can't wait to get the latest and greatest set hooked up on my IPod.

Juiced Promotions brings CITRIC to the upstairs at Sin Sin for a summer edition you won't want to miss. UK's rising star Derek Godwin warms it up from 9-11 and [url=http://www.holosoundnyc.com][b]Holosound[/b][/url] takes over from 11-2 with them all probably throwing down some nonsense after that. Together With BlueSky Thursdays taking place downstairs and drink specials all night long, Sin Sin is without a doubt the best house night in the city this thursday.

ok alex, here is my detailed review for the june set (inspite we are on the 29th of july :oops: )
I think it rocks...but personally, i dont like some of the tracks...they are too...(whats the word...)...cheesy?...electro?...dont know how to put it into words...
the thing is I m quite a progressive fan, so you can say I m into melodic stuff, nice vocals, and nice trips mostly :twisted: hehe... I think thats the reason I dislike some tunes you selected...
HOWEVER, (and once again) as I told you some months ago...i [b]DO[/b] like the set....!!but I must say the best stuff I heard from you guys, was de WMC promo.
Hope to hear the AUGUST PROMO soon :twisted:. Looking foward to that..!

Fair enough mate, we is what we is and we do what we do 8) but if you like progressive then I'll bet you'll dig the hell out of our August Promo which we just finished! I am pasting a yousendit for right now although I will be formally posting it on the site and starting an August Promo thread hopefully by tonight-Thanks for the review and keep listening part of what we do with the promos is mix it up just like when we play out we play all over the place depending on the venue and crowd-I hear you on those tracks but I gotta say sometimes I like a little moody stuff too. irregardless(not a word) I'm confident you'll Dig what August has in store for you now if I can only find a solid will ferrell pic......................................
