Re: Henry Saiz · El laberinto · Bienvenido al laberinto · 06/09/14

It is awful. !!! Lots of Spanish speaking with the odd good/great track thrown in. it certainly bears no resemblance whatsoever to his older Labyrinth shows. It's just a promotion !! And I am so over his electronic thing. It's just plain boring. He was the absolute master of beautiful melody, this new stuff is some sort of hybrid. He can't make up his mind what it should be. It is so busy, there is no clarity anymore. His electronic is a poor imitation of the greats like Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk.

I am just about ready to totally give up on Henry, which makes me very sad.

Re: Henry Saiz · El laberinto · Bienvenido al laberinto · 06/09/14

^I pretty much agree. I used to be super eager to listen to his mixes. I think it's interesting that when a producer/dj does something well, it's natural to want to get better or try something they feel to them is innovative or unique. They probably feel like that's what got them noticed among the sea of producers to begin with. When in actuality, they may very well be alienating their base of fans. Nobody tells them this it seems like, because it happens all the time. I think the best dj's innovate slowly, but stay true to the sound that got them where they are. Anyway, just some flections from my flat .

[COLOR="#33cc66"] long time without hearing a herny set, except his last album in separate tracks mode

but now i feel him in very marketing mode always

and that will never be good for me, even with this radio show, selling and selling it previous days and after

he comes from no talking so much and deeply immersed in music, would be good to continue that journey

lol calm down people...its his first episode for christs sake. i imagine he will tweak the formula a bit. im guessing it will sounds alot like what john does with transistions. plays tracks he likes and thrown in a guest mix every now and then.

Re: Henry Saiz · El laberinto · Bienvenido al laberinto · 06/09/14

^^^ It was 5 minutes before we got to music :) A lot of us don't like Transitions for those same reasons  But at least we understand what John is selling
