his mixes are so engaging, you can really tell he has a passion for music imo. I personally find most other mixes boring in comparison.

top? no but I find it equally engaging as the other. although greg's mellow trip is better because it was a set he did in Miami at Art Basel, that people seemed to enjoy so much he ended up releasing it and name it "greg's mellow trip."

i have listened to this set 3x already since Friday. i agree with Florida, Thugfucker are in a league of their own at the moment, addicted to anything they release.

i find the entirety of this set outstanding... whereas with the Art Basel Mellow Trip, the first 45 or so minutes just never did click for me.

only one complaint for this set... too short lol :)

ya, I'm with you on that... not sure if it's 45 or not, but I do tend to skip ahead about that far when I listen.. However, if I have all the time in the world, like if I'm on a 5 hour drive, the whole thing is a work of art.

exactly what it is my friend. some times i really dont mind if it isnt a "mix" from a traditional 2x turntable/mixer sense, it is all about the tracks for me

i think i still prefer the first Mellow Trip but this one still is a close 2nd

I've been returning to the mellow trip mix lately, it still surprises me with it's variation of sounds. Just really well put together. Hope he puts out more of these.
