Sweden's Erik Pettersson is better known as DJ/producer Sonic Union, one half of prolific progressive house pair Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union and co-founder, label owner and manager of Lowbit Records. With a DJing and production career spanning 15 years, his versatility, experience and sheer talent enables him to turn his hand from everything to producing, remixing, mastering, DJing and label management.

His technical prowess both behind the decks and the uniquely uplifting energy of his sets have to date seen him play in Europe, Japan, USA, Canada and India and hold residencies in his native Sweden and Canada, while he recently rocked Bloque Festival 2012 in Greece alongside the likes of [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1106"]deepfunk[/url], [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=209"]Lank[/url] and Dousk.

Erik also owns and manages well-established label Lowbit Records, which celebrates its milestone 100th release on 15th October 2012.
