I put this new promo together on the weekend. A collection of all the stuff I'm loving at the moment. Deep melodic house.

Featuring new ones from the likes of Bicep, Hal Incandenza, Mario Basanov, Hernan, Ricky Ryan, Dusky, Guy Gerber, Dixon, Guy J, and more. Hit me up if you want a tune ID'd. Love to hear what you guys think, as after a re-listen I reckon it's the best mix I've done in ages ;)

Re: Andrew Slattery - August promo

I think currently listeners nowadays, or at least in my case, want to hear more variety of sounds, genres and even tempos. I personally have had my fill of redundant beats that don't go anywhere... I like eclectic sounds, such as Will Saul's Dazed & Confused mix. Andrew your Back to Mine mix had that eclectic vibe, blending various genres. It was a mix that matched the name well because you could tell the dj was really enjoying what they were doing, and not copying so preconceived notion of what a mix should sound like or what other people are doing. That shit is just plain boring. It's all about letting the listener discover different sounds and feelings throughout a mix, so that it almost tells a story. At least in my humble opinion.
