the trouble with ( u or me for that matter ) altering sound/recordings like this is that 99% of the tracks have been proffetionally mastered by a qualified engineer, places like be@.tv, beatport and other places deliberately keep volume low because they either don't want people ripping it for themselves or they want people to be attracted to their own podcasts... its really that simple

yes right SIR ! But some radio stations have muffled sound settings (poor and middle heights ...) You should listen to my recordings without any external equalizer (the old ones) but I've been trying to change as little as possible as necessary ^^

i don't use eq, my whole system is completely flat... have you ever heard the expression "you can't polish a turd" ? there is no way in hell a professional would even try to "master" a mp3, it just can't be done... then u go and label them "HQ"... i don't have a problem with u ripping sets or labeling them like u do but this is exactly why u get so much hassle on many different forums from lot of different people

would irritate me, but the biggest problem is: i have family, child and working as an independent. i simply lack the time for it :( because the recording, cut, etc. takes time, too :evil:
