This past March, i had the amazing consecutive opportunities to open for two of my largest influences, new and old: [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=109"]Patrice Baumel[/URL] and [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=2"]John Digweed[/URL]. Taking the style and sound of the night with Patrice at The End Up in SF for the Play party, the set naturally evolved into a four deck version when i opened two weeks later for Digweed in NY. So this mix takes the best of both sets, fused into one and it reflects a sound that i would play everytime, everywhere if given a chance. A melting pot of tracks, new and old, blurring a few genre lines, and ultimately trying to maintain that slow burning groove to set up the headliner.
