Have to say Garcia has overtaken [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=3"]Hernan Cattaneo[/url] in my books....he produces more varied and interesting mixes - too many never-ending anonymous and uninteresting trance prog tunes on Cattaneo's mixes these days in my view..... no offence intended to all the HC lovers!!!

^^^ That is totally correct. :lol: Seriously the one thing that makes Hernan better is the emotion in his music, Martin doesn't have that. In fact not many do and none to the extent that Hernan does. It's almost scary :lol:

At the risk of inciting a mini riot, I have to agree. Martin has become the true torch bearer for progressive music. His track selections and flow of his sets are like a blueprint of what classic progressive should sound like. So many of his show episodes could be packaged as CD's and dwarf most commercial releases. It's just a shame that we never get a live set from the man. Hope he changes that sometime soon. Would be a real treat for the fans.

Yeah good on ya DIDI. Your comment made me laugh so hard I spat a mouthfull of my morning Berocca that I was consuming when I read your reply all over my screen etc. It's just for the 3rd of may as I'm sure you arewell aware, but I didn't want to bump the original thread that had the links to the set because it was also off controversial topic. So I thought this thread would do, not realising it was even more all over the shop until I had already posted and gone back to the top of the page to check if my post went up.
