I remember speaking to Diggers about MG ages back and we were discussing how talented he is. Apparently he doesn't speak much english, so this may be a problem for him in making it to other countries and doing the promo.

My take is that he's happiest in the studio - MG is useless at promoting himself, his music, his radio show, and his gigs.

I've just seen that he now has a website up & running after his last one sat there for years doing nothing ... to be honest I'd stopped looking !

Although tour dates are Oct Nov Dec 2011 and the last news is Sept 2011 :roll: the most up to date Chart is Nov 2011.

MG's facebook page is useless, as is his Soundcloud - these are the means to communicate with fans and spread your music, even if some people are old school or principled.

I've actually done all those things too :lol: Well, except talk to Diggers :lol: He just doesn't seem to want to share ! He should look at it that way instead of promotion. He would learn more english very quickly if he did. Plus we could certainly find enough spanish speakers to look after him here, and in most of the world. And sooo much of the joy of music is in the sharing !! :RockOn: He is actually missing out. !

I would want to time my next trip to Argentina so I can see him play[fingers crossed :)] but it is really hard to know when he is playing. :(

His 'Events' Page has no up & coming gigs - MG only posts dates just before he plays, so poor in terms of letting people plan.

I remember that first mix Garcia did for Digweed where John said he was likeley to follow Hernan into world domination. Wish that were the case. Another thing that's sad is despite the immense popularity of Martin's new show, we only have one person recording it. Thank heaven for Didi or we'd have nothing. Can't understand that. I wish I knew anything about recording so I could at least do it for those occasions where Didi is unable.

And he doesn't give away anything !!! I think most of us would be quite happy if he DID give us something and it was only once a month, or even less. But new !

Sure he's giving away something, his effort and time. Yes, he's not physically uploading it to Soundcloud (or the like) for you, but it's an indirect gift to his fans nonetheless.
