It is a 45 mins Howells mix, that he did for a friend that passed away from cancer. Tracks she loved :)

At the end its a little Megamix of some Howells faves.

I loved it, it was great and moving, because of the backstory and because it's a collection of Danny's most memorable moments. They have brought so much happiness and good feelings to so many people.

Moderation in P&R is rather soft at present, true, not too much posting activity either, to be frank.

I'm not talking about you or anyone in particular. But too many people are hiding because they had a scratch with the bosses or with fellow users. Second, not posting for lack of feedback it's silly, it's the Internet. Not posting because of the bots is also wrong, in my opinion. I want to know the source of a file and I don't want this site to become just links.

Actually P @ R is the only place where nice things happen anymore .Things like this thread. Plus I do get thanked here :D I keep up a thread on Hernan in my local forum , there is a minimum of 500 views per week and I never get thanked :lol: But it's not about the kudos , it's the sharing that matters. :) But these are the reasons I hate it when the bots come in with their unnecessary money making links. It's degrading.

You want to check out the Tracklist sub section then. what a fucking mess. Not to mention the mass uploads and podcasts. Half the stuff in there should be in here and vice versa.

Lets remember that this was one of the main reasons for the mass upload sub forum. This is the point that some people seem to have missed.

Yes there are good sets being over looked in there but its links that are for financial gain, not for the love of the music in the first point.

What about roco? his SoundCloud account is costing him £500 a year, there's no financial gain there. And he has to upload them to, unlike some other members we could mention.

I think when Adam was setting the sub forum up he was classing Rico the same as the Podcast Bot. Thats why all those mixes end up in there. The DJDB was meant to be the way members would find what sets they wanted, therefore if a Cox or Digweed set ended up in there you would still be notified if you are subscribed to that artist in the database.

It was to clear the board up but the mods didnt want to ban these guys for whatever reason.

The whole OT should be removed from here and pasted or merged in GYY - Chris has A MAJOR point, so I wouldn't delete the posts above. Moderating a board means hard work, so I'm not blaming the current mods, nor Adam and the rest. It takes someone who has the time, knowledge and patience to sort out all the heavy stuff, tracklistings, podcasts, vintage sets. It's not removing double posts, it makes a huge difference. It takes more than one person too.

You mentioned Rico. Don't forget that I spend 250 euros a year too, to share Transitions with you all. I wouldn't put Emusic in the same ballpark either, because he shares free links too and doesn't recode or cheat, but that's another story.

So, in a nutshell, all we need is 1) contributors (more than mods) 2) a way to separate good mass uploads from the bad ones.

You obviously know your stuff, have already done a load of work on here, you seem fair with everyone on [ms] and you are on here more than most of the other moderators as far as i can see anyway. Just saying............8)
